Introducing Student Planners A daily link between home and college We ask that the Rights Respect Responsibility Charter and the Home College Contract should be signed by the end of the first week A place for students to record their homework Student targets and levels are discussed and recorded Stamps are recorded on a page per week in the planner Any detentions are written on the day they are due to be completed

Golden Rules for students to follow in order to collect their stamps each lesson. Behaviour – follow the college expectations in every lesson Personal Best – work to the best of your ability throughout every lesson Arrive on time – arrive to every lesson on time Uniform – wear full college uniform at all times Equipment – make sure you have all the equipment needed to participate in the lesson If a student does not follow these rules they lose their stamp for the lesson and the number of the rule(s) they have broken will be written in the box in their planner for you, as parents/carers, to see.

To collect stamps students need to: Place their planner on the desk at the start of every lesson, open on the correct page In PDL each week record their attendance and punctuality

What your teachers will do? Stamp every planner at the end of each lesson when students have met the 5 golden rules Tutors enter student stamp totals onto a spreadsheet each week Progress Managers will issue rewards to students based on stamp totals, such as Enrichment Day, Adventure Week in year 7 and the Leavers Prom in year 11 Progress Managers will check spreadsheets each week and follow up on any students who may be getting too few stamps in a week
