PRIMERA ART Allows students with previous art experience to work at their level and be challenged It is an accelerated program for 6 th and 7 th grade It is an enrichment program for 8 th grade Students can take part in Primera Art/Music/Spanish simultaneously (in 6 th grade – in 7 th /8 th grade they will have to make some choices)

PORTFOLIO  Required only of students who did NOT attend Pioneer  The purpose of the portfolio is to make sure the class is a good fit – a challenge to help student build skills, but not overwhelm the student  Needs to be labeled with: Student Name Parent Name Contact Phone Number  Due by Friday March 7 th, 2014  All Portfolios will be returned  ELECTRONIC PORTFOLIOS ARE ENCOURAGED  Take pictures of the artworks and send them as attachments in an to:
