Serious Games Institute “An international centre of excellence for the application of video games, virtual worlds and associated technology to serious social and economic issues” An international centre of excellence for the application of video games, virtual worlds and associated technology to serious social and economic issues. The SGI’s aim is to establish Coventry University as the World Leader with regard to the development, deployment and delivery of Serious Games, Mobile Applications and Virtual World Technologies. The Institute provides a close interface between high-level applied academic research at Coventry University and leading edge technology companies in the field of game-based learning.
