Immanuel Church Feniscowles Fire escape plan and fire prevention for The Church and Church Halls (Sunday School Buildings)

Fire Policy Notes applicable to all our Church Buildings 1) A NO SMOKING POLICY is in place in all buildings. 2) Periodic inspections of the gas and electrical infrastructure are to be undertaken. 3) Domestic electrical appliance are discouraged. All items must be turned off when not in use and unplugged where practicable. Those used on a daily basis must be inspected for good repair. 4) Gas and Electrical equipment and other fire hazards are not to be left unattended. 5) All user Groups are to undertake a Safety Walk Round at the end of session and CHECK ALL Gas Appliances are off (except water heater in Kitchen), Taps are Off and not left running, All lights are off and all appliances unplugged. 6) Electrical controls are not to be interfered with (Time Clocks, Fan Setting, Thermostats etc.) 7) All user are to exercise good house keeping. (Remove all combustible material after use. Do not store material on the Church Premises). 8) Know the location of Extinguisher, Fire Blankets and Alarm Bell. 9) In the event of an Emergency Evacuate the premises, Inform the Cottage, Dial 999 and give the Post Code BB2 3EW for the Church or BB2 5 EN for the Hall Appoint a greeter to guide any Emergency Agency
