State Board Policy 2200 Requirement of the 5 Year Strategic Plan Partners with Title I Requires parent participation on various groups within each school Community Leaders and Businesses are also to participate in the various decision making groups

WVDE Task Force Made up of different offices through out the WVDE Members from community agencies Problem solve about Parent Involvement activities Goal is to build local capacity

WVDE Taskforce Goals Build Local Capacity for increasing Parent, Family and Community in schools Increase Awareness of the importance of Parent, Family and Community involvement in schools Provide Resources to the Districts
