TRENDS IN MOBILE DEVICES TAINE MURRAY CANDIDATE: 3592 CENTRE NAME: WILDERN SCHOOL CENTRE NUMBER: 58243

SUMMARY ON MOBILE Mobile phones are one of the most used technology around the world thousands of people use mobile phones for many different things such as: Social media, Texting or business phone calls. While Italian innovator Antonio Meucci pictured at left is credited with inventing the first basic phone in 1849, and Frenchman Charles Bourseul devised a phone in 1854, Alexander Graham Bell won the first U.S. patent for the device in 1876.

ADVANCED IMAGING As the phones keep getting released the camera pixels increase, when phones were first evented the phones never had a camera option. November 2000 saw the first camera phone hit the market, the Sharp J-SH04, but it failed to make much of an impact. In fact the J-SH04 never made it out of Japan. The SCH-V200 flipped open to reveal a 1.5-inch TFT-LCD, and the built-in digital camera was capable of taking 20 photos at 350,000-pixel resolution, which is 0.35-megapixels, but you had to attach it to a computer to get your photos. As the phones start to increase adding more pixels to the camera. Both HTC and LG tried to make a 3D phone in 2011 and released phones with dual 5MP cameras capable of taking photos or capturing video in 3D. As it turned out, there was no real demand.

PROJECTION The phones in nower days are increasing fast bring out new technology all the time, phoneare increasing by bring out a projecting boards this will open so many different opportunities with being able to teach classes quicker without downloading it to a computer and hoping it to work. This will also allow bigger oppurtunities with apps that might help the able to teach.

COMPARISONS In the timeline it shows major changes there are many different features such as the antenna as disappeared and they are all touch screen. As the phones increased more and more people brought them. The market in phones increased so much after the very first smart phone. The smart phone began to be a person friend or assistant if you like, people could use them for everything such as alarms, TV, videos, able to talk to friends, and easy to search things. This could be a start of something hat could change the world, computers would become un useable. Since apple introduced siri there has been a massive change in phones, Nokia have Cortana Samsung have its own. This new application added to the devices changed a massive vision in people, these could be used as a personal accident as her to call people text people even remind them to do things.

FUTURE OF PHONES Future phones are being touted as the ultimate multifunctional gadgets and are expected to be more closely embedded in our day-to-day lives than ever before. But this could open up to be a major crisis because people can find new ways to hack and the internet could be a very dangerous place for young and older generations.

SOCIAL MEDIA As the years go by the world of social media will improve, making millions if not billions of people world wide, the market of social media apps will increase making billions of Pounds from teens and large business trying to promote their company. Social media has open a range of opportunities of things people to do people are figuring out new ideas for social media.

HACKING IN PHONES Now a days phones can be used for a range of different things such as hacking. Hacking is becoming a major thing in modern technology, people are able to hack into their history, , bank accounts and pay pal. There is a enforced law in many different countries called the computer misuse act enforced in 1990 it states that you will be prosecuted and sent to jail for tapping in to text messages, phone calls, online bank account stealing or even social media accounts hacked. iPhones are prone to hacking but lots of people have a hacked iPod, iPad or iPhone this is called cydia, cydia allows people to hack into games and alter many things and get free things that cost money, a example is clash of clans (hacked) people get free gems (cost money) and complete the game, Conning supercell.

SCREEN MIRRORING This is a revolution to phones, Samsung launched a new application “screen mirroring” this can used from Samsung device i.e. Samsung Phones, Samsung Tablets etc, to a Samsung TV. Companies can use this for so many different things that could help them such as conferences, in a conference they can use a application on the phone then they can use it to project on a screen which is easily portable and easy to use. It can also be used to personal preferences not just business preferences people can Skype using a bigger screen, play games, watch movies. It has opened up many opportunities with people can do with phones, but this is only the beginning.
