Me BA Communications Masters in Elementary Education Professional Certificate I have a wonderful husband, a thirteen year old boy, twin 10 year old girls, two dogs and two cats.

My Philosophy and Goals High Expectations for ALL! Students will be respectful, thoughtful, accepting, and considerate to others and self. Students will develop attitude of self- confidence, critical thinking skills, independent thinking and desire to become a lifelong learner.

Classroom Responsibilities and Expectations Personal Responsibility!! Follow all school and playground expectations. ALWAYS do best work. Be kind to each other Focus on doing the right thing, even if no one is watching. Everything that we do is based on the school rule: “We make choices that don’t cause a problem for others.”

Second Grade Conferences and Report Cards Conferences will be taking place on December 3 rd and 4 th. Report cards are aligned with the district and state curriculum standards. Homework With the exception of daily Everyday Math, comes home weekly. Weekly homework is due each Friday by 9:30am (turned in by the student!). Must be turned in to attend structured Choice Time on Friday. Students get two homework excuse pass for the year. Includes reading and reading comprehension log, lasting no more than 20 minutes. All assignments support skills taught in class.

Volunteers Tue 9:35-10:30am: Literacy Thu 9:35-10:30am: Literacy Fri 9:35-10:35am: Math stations/Math help. Volunteers start in October.
