What is the disease? HIV means human immunodeficiency virus, it is a virus that weakens the immune system, It is found in the blood (including menstrual blood), semen, and vaginal fluid of a person who has HIV. HIV courses AIDS, AIDS mean Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome this means it is breaking down the human immune system

What is the cause of the disease? 85% of cases are fount from heterosexual intercourse and the rest is from blood to blood contact for example over used tattoo needles

What type of disease is it? HIV/AIDS is a virus that has spread to every country in the world.

Who is commonly suffers from the disease A lot of homosexuals suffer from this with 85% of cases being from the gay community

What are the symptoms of this disease? Many people do not develop symptoms after they first get infected with HIV. Others have a history of a flu-like illness within several days to weeks after exposure to the virus. Early HIV symptoms also include fever, headache, tiredness.

What is the treatment of the disease? There are 31 antiretroviral drugs (ARVs) approved by the Food and Drug Administration to treat HIV infection, These treatments do not cure people of HIV or AIDS. Rather, they suppress the virus, even to undetectable levels
