CREATION Is the essential tool for the development of culture Legal guarantees for authors that their works are properly remunerated in the case that their works are used. In this manner the authors can dedicate their entire activity for creating. Similar legal guarantees must be applied also to the users (creative industries) because they assure the dissemination of authors works. A society can not exist without culture and creativity and without producing culture and creativity.

ECONOMIC CONTRIBUTION OF THE COPYRIGHT BASED INDUSTRIES IN ROMANIA The Study was realized for the period by the Culture Studies and Examination at the initiative of the Romanian Copyright Office with technical and financial assistance of WIPO and Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. The Study reveals the important contribution of the creative industries to the GDP, employment market, export and import balance of cultural goods. - CORE INDUSTRIES (phonograms producing, publishing of written works, radio and TV broadcasting) - INTERDEPENDENT INDUSTRIES (paper manufacture, musical instruments) - PARTIAL INDUSTRIES (textile manufacture) - NON-DEDICATED INDUSTRIES (commercialization and distribution of copyright goods)

ECONOMIC CONTRIBUTION OF THE COPYRIGHT BASED INDUSTRIES IN ROMANIA 20023,75% GDP 2,06% core 2,73% employment scale 122,7 mil. EURO - exports 205,9 mil. ECONOMIC CONTRIBUTION OF THE COPYRIGHT BASED INDUSTRIES IN ROMANIA -The Study will be continued for the period For medium and long term, the study states a development of the percentage of core industries to the GDP. This means that core industries have an important contribution to the economic and social development of the country. -Core industries represent dynamic sectors of the national economy. -The study prove scientifically the importance of the creative industries to: generate incomes, new jobs, international commerce. -Sustainable development of the core industries sector with in the national economy impose a long term strategic vision, but also aspects regarding governmental policy.
