The History Of Computers By: Jonathan Westbrook

What there is to know about computers Computers are the most important tool of web designers or web masters. It is simply a machine that is programmed to follow instructions of the task it is ask to do. Examples: Computers can be used for multiple things like calculate personal finances, make films and order tickets from offline.

Essential Components The Components are the case, motherboard, internal hard drive, the processor, RAM, and expansion slots and cards. All of these are the essential components of the computer. Each is used for a different reason an functions differently.

Input Devices Input Devices consists of a mouse, keyboard, scanner, digital cameras, and a graphic table. A mouse-a device used for pointing, selecting, and highlighting things visible on your monitor. Keyboard-is used for typing an it has short cut buttons allowing you to get to apps more quickly. Scanner-allow you to convert anything it can scan to a digital image which it then stores inside your computer. Digital Cameras-Does not use film an can be a huge money saver an will save your pictures on a internal storage device. Graphic Table-a great tool for those web designers and graphic artists who rely upon free-hand drawing to make graphics

Output Devices Speakers-higher end speakers often feature volume control a sub-woofer for a deeper sound and upon occasion rear speakers for surround sound. Printers-Photo printers print on photo paper of various sizes and all In ones print with very good quality and are versatile with the ability to print labels, envelopes, and more.

Drives & Media The computer consists of a cd/dvd drive, usb drive, and an external hard drive. Each of these features benefits the computer in different ways. An it is also a good way to help you bring your media an anything else with you on the go.

Summary The computer helps everyday life an makes it so much easier for us. Without computers things wouldn’t be so easy an we won’t have as much information as we know now.
