3rd TG Meeting and 2nd Project Coordination Team Meeting Enns - 7 and 8 March, 2012 Project DaHar Prof. Dr.- Ing. Milosav Georgijevic WP3 - A 4 DaHar PP: University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Engineering and Port of Novi Sad, AD Prof. Dr.-Ing. Milosav Georgijevic, VDI, BVL, ASIM Project DaHar 3rd TG Meeting and 2nd Project Coordination Team Meeting 7 and 8 March, 2012, Ennshafen

DaHar PP: University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Engineering and Port of Novi Sad, AD Prof. Dr.-Ing. Milosav Georgijevic, VDI, BVL, ASIM WP3 Exploiting the development and cooperation potentials of participating ports through transfer of knowledge A 1 - State of the art of multi-modal waterway cargo transport Tb 4 - River Information Services (RIS) are information technology (IT) related services designed to optimize traffic and transport processes in inland navigation, i.e. to enhance a swift electronic data transfer between water and shore through in-advance and real-time exchange of information. Deep dive process - IWT laboratories our target activities as a basis for Project DaHar 3rd TG Meeting and 2nd Project Coordination Team Meeting 7 and 8 March, 2012, Ennshafen

DaHar PP: University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Engineering and Port of Novi Sad, AD Prof. Dr.-Ing. Milosav Georgijevic, VDI, BVL, ASIM RIS internal meeting at the premises of via donau with DORIS presentation, DaHar WORK PLAN – Febr.- July Adaptation or development of the necessery RIS testing tool (text of the work plan) If we accept the RIS + + from other or ongoing EU projects, we are not currently ready for use - testing What we have? State of the art study - River Information Services (RIS) Project DaHar 3rd TG Meeting and 2nd Project Coordination Team Meeting 7 and 8 March, 2012, Ennshafen

DaHar PP: University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Engineering and Port of Novi Sad, AD Prof. Dr.-Ing. Milosav Georgijevic, VDI, BVL, ASIM what should be done? - Analysis of the current state and level of IT application with PP and other ports on the Danube - We have a questionnaire: Methodological Guide for the elaboration of State of the Art Study - Activity 3.1 “State of the art of multi-modal waterway cargo transport”, + - RIS questionnaire for ports - Elaborated by: RSOE - We must not forget the possible - necessary investments in equipment or software? - we must find: Reference condition for the adoption of DaHar Project DaHar 3rd TG Meeting and 2nd Project Coordination Team Meeting 7 and 8 March, 2012, Ennshafen

-Why? -Port Enns, as the reference port, during the IWT will show us that there: In Austria the RIS system is already existing (more description in the SoA study RIS) and the port of Ennshafen use this information system for the last mile of a ship arriving in the port. In a national project called TRIUMPH (trimodal cargo handling port) the RIS system is further developed and connected with other information services of rail and road system. Citat from: Enns IWT Labs Status Quo Report 4. mart 2012 MG- Comment: This is probably the basic RIS? Please comment by Enshafen. Are they ready for the RIS ++ in the Dahar? -Whether Dahar PP - port ready with little or no investment to implement this tomorrow and testing?? Implementation of basic aim of RIS is not goal for DaHar!! Project DaHar 3rd TG Meeting and 2nd Project Coordination Team Meeting 7 and 8 March, 2012, Ennshafen

DaHar PP: University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Engineering and Port of Novi Sad, AD Prof. Dr.-Ing. Milosav Georgijevic, VDI, BVL, ASIM -Our knowledge so far show: -Each port in Austria has its own information system and are not willing to change it, -Operators would be very happy to welcome the standardization of logistics IT services (based on RIS +++ or ?) - All states (EU or not) have own special characteristics, which would be very useful to upgrade the platform DaHar, if we can? We are ready to make a complex analysis of IT systems in Dahar PP ports, as we have given in Dunajvaros Project DaHar 3rd TG Meeting and 2nd Project Coordination Team Meeting 7 and 8 March, 2012, Ennshafen

Project DaHar DaHar 1 st Project Coordination Team Meeting - Dunaújváros Oktober 2011 DaHar PP: University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Engineering and Port of Novi Sad, AD Prof. Dr.-Ing. Milosav Georgijevic, VDI, BVL, ASIM -State of IT systems in the port (PP) and and readiness for use RIS and RIS + +, -Whether the communication capabilities you use? -How you run the info from the operator to the port (description), -How you run the info from commercial dep. to planners and to execution points, -Have your local IT system execution info feedback to managers, boss, commerce, management,.. - If you have, how it works?

Project DaHar DaHar 1 st Project Coordination Team Meeting - Dunaújváros Oktober 2011 DaHar PP: University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Engineering and Port of Novi Sad, AD Prof. Dr.-Ing. Milosav Georgijevic, VDI, BVL, ASIM What we must do? -Analysis of questionnaires, -Discussion and consultation with PP, -Adopt of the DaHar IT platform, - Customize (adjusting) of the DaHar platform (hardware and software) with RIS environment, -Adaptation of local IT systems form PP with DaHar platform (hardware and software), - Adjusting of the DaHar IT platform with IT systems on the Danube ports (as far as possible).

DaHar PP: University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Engineering and Port of Novi Sad, AD Prof. Dr.-Ing. Milosav Georgijevic, VDI, BVL, ASIM From the: State of the art study - River Information Services (RIS) In terms of the 2012th year basis for the Dahar IT platform can be RISING RISING concludes in May and probably will not provide widely elaborated answers answers to all questions Project DaHar 3rd TG Meeting and 2nd Project Coordination Team Meeting 7 and 8 March, 2012, Ennshafen

We are in negotiations with national RIS point to: Port Novi Sad be the test point for RIS (and RIS ++ - Logistics At this point in time it is fundamental to RIS If you think that we have no time for detailed analysis, what is the proposal? DaHar PP: University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Engineering and Port of Novi Sad, AD Prof. Dr.-Ing. Milosav Georgijevic, VDI, BVL, ASIM Project DaHar 3rd TG Meeting and 2nd Project Coordination Team Meeting 7 and 8 March, 2012, Ennshafen

Thank you for your attention DaHar PP: University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Engineering and Port of Novi Sad, AD Prof. Dr.-Ing. Milosav Georgijevic, VDI, BVL, ASIM Project DaHar 3rd TG Meeting and 2nd Project Coordination Team Meeting 7 and 8 March, 2012, Ennshafen
