MAESTRO OVERVIEW OBJECTIVE Maestro aims to strengthen the ability of our most senior client leaders to be valued and trusted advisors to their clients, colleagues and teams. We know that we have more to offer to our clients than what they already buy from us, and would like to find ways to engage more effectively and creatively with them, to have more impact and to add more value to their business. Adding value to our clients is both an art and a science, and it requires demonstration and effective application of specific client relationship skills. Maestro is a way for us to build a common approach and methodology across all the Kantar Operating Companies, and to share best practices with each other. LEARNING / BUSINESS OUTCOMES Increased confidence and demonstrated effectiveness in the areas of: Problem-solving and fact-based decision-making Client / business development Relationship skills People / team leadership Financial accountability Strengthened ability to act as trusted advisor, and to build and lead increasingly large, complex relationships. FORMAT Maestro is a comprehensive 3-month learning initiative. Frameworks are introduced to help delegates understand their own and others’ leadership styles, and to model and practice effective ways to handle conflict and structure and synthesise complex problems. The experience includes the following: Pre-programme MBTI assessment and agreement of developmental objectives with Manager Highly experiential 5 day residential programme with Kantar senior role models and external professional faculty, built around an integrated business case Extensive teamwork, collaboration and networking with peers across Kantar OpCos Personalised faculty coaching and peer feedback during and post-programme to support application of learning Objective setting and follow-through to ensure that both personal and Kantar business objectives are met DELEGATE CONDITIONS 25 OpCo-sponsored senior client-facing delegates who: Possess sound business acumen and a level of self-awareness / ability and desire to self-reflect Commit to act as First Chair Faculty within 18 months of Maestro participation 2012 Markets & dates: Q2 UK: April 30 – May 4 China: June 18 – 22 Q3 USA: July 16 – 20 Brazil: Sept 10 – INVESTMENT Delegate fee: £1,800 Includes training delivery costs, assessment fees and all group meals Delegates are responsible for venue day rate and organizing travel, accommodation, visa / immigration requirements and costs Please note the cancellation fee is £4,500

MAESTRO DELEGATE ACTIONS & LOGISTICS DELEGATE PRE-WORK ACTIONS Prior to attending Maestro, please ensure you have completed the following: 1.Scheduled a pre- & post-Maestro meeting with your Manager to discuss and review developmental objectives (refer to Maestro Discussion Guide). Bring your written objectives with you. 2.Taken the MBTI Complete Survey (refer to MBTI Instructions, attached). 3.Completed a Kantar 360 assessment, if you have not already completed one in the past year. Martin Gross will contact you with instructions. 4.Read the case study and associated documents that will be sent to you by Kantar 5.Submitted your Bio to Kantar, using the Kantar template (attached), please return this to Ananda. This will be published as part of the programme. Note: Your MBTI, 360 (if required) and bio must be completed and submitted 2 weeks before the programme commences. Please bring copies of your completed MBTI and 360 with you. TIMETABLE 5 day residential programme. Monday 8.30am – Friday 12.30pm NOTE: You are required to attend all day sessions. Start and finish times vary slightly throughout the week, as a guide most days will start at 8am and finish between pm. You will be expected to be fully engaged throughout the programme including attending any organised group dinners. Non-attendance adversely impacts the programme effectiveness for all delegates. MAESTRO DELEGATE MBTI INSTRUCTIONS DELEGATE INSTRUCTIONS FOR COMPLETING MBTI 1.Go to this link: 2.Enter "Exetor" for the Account Login (case sensitive) and "81301" for the Account Password. You do not need an ID the first time you enter the survey. Be sure to write down your ID when it is provided for future re-entry into the system. 3.Select ”Begin” for “MBTI Complete". 4.Select “Kantar Maestro“ in drop-down menu for Batch Name. Follow instructions to continue with the survey. Please allow 1 hour to answer the questions and go through the interactive debrief. You can save your survey anytime and return later if needed. 5.Respond to every item, answering the questions as spontaneously as possible. Don’t think about how you “should” answer the question. The right answer is how you most accurately feel about the answer. 6.Please carefully read all the text that explains the MBTI model, since we will be assuming that you are knowledgeable about MBTI when you come to the programme. 7.Ensure you bring a copy of your MBTI with you to the Maestro programme.
