Presentation transcript:

What’s this about? The challenge: Third sector funding levels highly likely to fall going into General Election, jeopardising people, communities and society. The opportunity: to demonstrate the value the sector adds to the North West. What we want: government and statutory agencies to commit to remembering our contribution when setting priorities.

The Campaign Will promote the work of the sector and present our asks to government. Will showcase personal stories that show the sector transforming people, communities and society. Translate these ‘soft’ accounts into ‘hard’ facts that policymakers understand. Ask decision makers to listen to, value and invest in the third sector.

How it will work Initial case studies presented through postcards, web presence, resources for groups and more. Publicly launched at an event with North West MPs at the Houses of Parliament in March Rolled out so the wider sector can use the message and their stories.

What it will look like

How you can be involved Ask your funders and public sector contacts to Listen Value Invest. Go to to see the stories and access resources. Contribute your stories through the website. Spread the word! The more groups on board, the more powerful our voice will be.
