Manicure and pedicure are one of ways in beautifying oneself. In this lesson, the teacher will teach the students about the parts of nails, diseases and its causes and skills in manicure and pedicure. Manicure and pedicure are one of ways in beautifying oneself. In this lesson, the teacher will teach the students about the parts of nails, diseases and its causes and skills in manicure and pedicure.

The teacher will demonstrate on the proper way on how to manicure and pedicure. Then the students will have a return demonstration on both manicure and pedicure.

Projects  Research You will research on the different styles in manicure and pedicure or different nail arts. Then you will execute the specific nail art or style you’ve prefer that suites the personality of your partner that makes her unique.  Multimedia You will present a power point presentation on the different diseases and disorders of nails.  Service Learning You should have a small notebook which you will record your services given to your client. You will offer services to the people in the community. Week 1 Day 1- students will present their assignment on the parts of nail. Day 2- students show a power point presentation on the different nail diseases and disorders Day 3- Teacher will demonstrate the skills in manicure. Students will be paired for a return demonstration to practice the skills in manicure Day 4- students will have a practicum in manicure Day 5- practice the skills in pedicure

Week 2 Day 1- practicum in pedicure Day 2- practicum in both manicure and pedicure Day 3- teacher will discuss on the nail arts and students will practice Day 4- practice the nail art they have chosen to their partner. Day 5- final practicum on the nail art.
