Short Description Sociaal Vitaal Target group Community-dwelling elderly (60-85 years), low education and/or income, physically inactive, solitary and lack resilience to cope with ageing Objectives: To promote healthy ageing by –improving of physical activity; –reducing resilience to cope with ageing; –improving social skills to make contact with other persons (empowerment Theory: Health-related Fitness and Physical Activity model, Reserve Capacity Model and Ecological model for health behaviour
Social Skills training 4 session 45 min. Exercise class - 60 minutes weekly Resilience training 12 sessions 45 min. Health Education 6 sessions Program Recruitment Invitation letter and face to face home visits If interested: Screening for physical activity and questionnaire loneliness and resilience
