The Holland Code Is...  Method that’s used to assist coordinators in matching students to suitable jobs by the following:  Identifying Abilities  Identifying Interests  Identifying Personal Qualities  Students find this by rating your top 3 choices from the following category topics

Six Distinct Categories Involved In Finding Your Holland Code

Finding Your Holland Code  Once you have viewed the definitions of the characteristics please do the following:  Write down the first letter of each for the three categories  Examples: R = Realistic A = Artistic I = Investigative

Characteristics of Being Realistic  Posses athletic and/or mechanical  You like to do the following: –Work with machines –Work with tools –Work with plants –Work with animals –Be outside
