General objectives of the block By the end of this block students must be able to understand: 1.Organs of reproduction (gross and histological), endometrium and its cyclical shedding during menstruation, the ovulatory cycle, spermatogenesis, the formation of semen and its conducting system and the hormonal regulation of these different phenomena

General objectives of the block By the end of this block students must be able to understand: 2. Understand the areas of fertilization and implantation, early embryological development i.e. organogenesis, formation and structure of placenta and umbilical cord and the gestational sac.

What students do wrong? Start studying late in the Block Always hoping for postponements of exam dates Selective & superficial study & only handouts In my opinion, many students do not think as much as they photocopy and memorize

What students do wrong? Do not ask enough questions Do not make good use of panel discussions Overestimate themselves Do not read the disciplines which have less no. of lectures in the block This results in failure to integrate knowledge & failure to understand the basic concepts

Our humble advice! Read every thing covered in whatever activity Study every day, but relax and enjoy completely one and a half day a week Work hard and make yourselves & your parents proud of you and maybe one day, the whole world will be proud of you Visualize: What and where do you want to be 10 years from now! Then work hard for that
