Most significant advances in Primary Health Care since 1 st January 2000  Implementation of a special training with certificate for Addiction Medicine  Publication of a manual for Brief Intervention in alcohol use disorders  Start of federal funding of four addiction research networks  Action plan “Drogen und Sucht” of the health ministry  Reimbursement of Brief Intervention in alcohol use disorders during a 2 year pilot phase by the health insurances in Mecklenburg- Vorpommern
