Once upon a time, a pumpkin named Franklin and his family lived in a pig Pumpkin patch named “Joes Pumpkins”. Franklin loved Joes Pumpkin patch, he was very happy there with his family. Then one day around Halloween time a little girl came and took Franklins big brother away!

Franklin was very sad, he did not understand why this little girl came and took his brother away from Joes Pumpkin Patch. He asked his mother “Why did they take my brother away mama?” Franklins mother replied “Every pumpkin will get taken away Franklin, we will have a new life somewhere else”

After a few days, more and more people began to come and take all of Franklins friends and family away! Then one day, a little boy came and took Franklins mother away. Franklin was so sad he cried and cried. Why was his Family getting taken away from him he wondered.

Franklin was so sad, until his Daddy told him about a thing called “Halloween” His daddy explained to him that Halloween came around every year and pumpkins like themselves got taken away to get decorated and loved by families.

This new information that Franklins daddy told him made Franklin very happy, he couldn’t wait to get taken and decorated by a family.

After a few days, a nice family came and took Franklins Daddy away, “Bye papa! Bye!” Franklin yelled after him. Franklin was so excited to get taken home by a family, he waited for days and days…and soon he began to think that he would never get taken away.

Finally when all of Franklins hope was lost, a family of a mommy, daddy, a little boy, and a little girl came and picked Franklin! They brought him home and decorated him, he was so happy, and on Halloween night he got to light up with a beautiful spark inside of him. Franklin had never been so happy.
