Schooling in Iraq,China and Germany

Iraq Before 1991 was one of the best schooling in the region with over 100 percent enrollment rate and high levels of literacy Then the war started and their schooling started to go downhill, now 5 million (40 percent) of children are out of school. 65 percent of displaced students are males, girls tend to drop out because they are forced to marry and have less rights then males. 70 percent of schools lack clean water and latrines, they also lack teacher training and food sources. Almost 1,000 schools are made from mud, straw or tents.

China Designed by the communist party to deprive students of all around view of their countries past. Schooling is required and free except for small book and uniform fees. School day is 7 pm To 4 pm Or later. They focus on math,science and Chinese studies. test scores in math and science beat the U.S. At the end of middle school there is a test that decides if you can go to high school only 30 percent go to high school

Germany Most schools and colleges are paid for by taxpayers. School starts at the age of 6 there is no intuition costs for the college. Language tests are given to all four year olds Each school has their own rules 97 percent graduate from high school and only a third go onto college. Only go to school in the morning no lunch is served and there is a lot more H.W. Must complete at least 9 years of school.
