THOMAS PAINE COTTAGE 20 Sicard Ave., New Rochelle  Given to Thomas Paine in 1784 for fighting to free the country from Britain’s rule.  Inside you’ll find Paine’s chair and a cast-iron stove used by Benjamin Franklin.  Permanent and temporary displays  Late 18 th century and early century décor.
