What to know about plants! By: Sydney McCrery Brinson Memorial Elementary school Mrs. Ayala 3 rd grade class!

Parts of a Plant  Plants have 4 major parts. They are: o Stem o Roots o Leaves o Flowers

Roots The roots help the plant suck up water. They help the plant grow. They also help the plant stay hydrated.

Stem  The purpose of the stem is to hold up the plant. It also to take water up to the leaves. The stem always stays green.

Roots  The purpose of the leaves are to feed the plant. and suck up water, and help the plant drink. They look like little curvy lines that are in the ground.

Flower  The purpose of the flower is to grow more seeds by animal water or by air. And to make more plant life! They also to help earth!
