Testimonials “Aaron’s Acres is a blessing for parents of children with special needs. My daughter Samantha attended the camp for many years, and each year when she arrived at camp, she would smile and say, “Look Mom, all my friends are here!” Aaron’s Acres provided activities that my daughter loved, and created a happy, active, and safe environment for children with special needs. Sammie made friends, rode horses, swam, and sang camp songs – all activities that she saw her siblings doing at their camps. Additionally, the Aaron’s Acres staff members are dedicated, knowledgeable, and friendly. The staff’s expertise ensures that attending the camp is a smooth experience for both children and their families. I am proud to be a founding parent of Aaron’s Acres, and to see the programs grow and expand to help many families in the Central Pennsylvania region.”- Mary Beth Musser “My daughter Nicole has been actively participating in Aaron’s Acres programs for 15 years. These programs enabled Nicole to enjoy a traditional camp experience while providing the supports she needed along the way. Nicole has grown from a shy little girl who struggled to interact with fellow campers to a confident young lady whose favorite activity at summer camp was assisting senior citizens play Bingo. In an effort to meet the growing needs of those they serve, the Aaron’s Acres team has expanded their program over the years. This growth could not have been possible without the tremendous support they receive from the community especially through events such as the Volley for Kids fundraiser. I have always been amazed with the generosity of the participants and their willingness to support my daughter and her friends. Volley for Kids is a one day fundraiser, but its effects are felt all year long by so many. ” - Kelley Nadeau
