Setting the Context ●VIDA Opened August 2014 ●5th VUSD Magnet School ●Magnet Theme: Innovation & Design ●Current 7th/8th Graders allowed to stay for VIDA if they wanted from former school. o 90% stayed to become Sharks and they are AWESOME! ●6th Graders were pulled from Lottery o 17 different elementary schools o 0% attrition to district comprehensive middle schools
