The urban challenge | 2 Close linkage between citizens’ health and transport systems’ performance, we know: Half of all trips shorter than 5 kilometres are undertaken by car. Physical inactivity is the fourth leading risk factor for death worldwide. Globally one in three adults is not active enough. 3. Creating a useful tool and guidance for policy makers | 10 Project findings will feed into the redevelopment of WHO/Europe Health Economic Assessment Tool (HEAT) - add new functions and modules. It facilitates population-wide assessment, translating the effects of active mobility measures into a quantitative evidence-based, evaluation.
