Havel Ruck Projects

Dan Havel – Born in Minnesota – Lives and work in Houston – Creates site-specific installations that explore the visual and conceptual aspects of transformation.

Havel Ruck Projects Dean Ruck – Born in Connecticut – Has lived and work in Houston since 1987 – Represented by Devin Borden Hiram Bulter Gallery in Houston, TX – Creates large and small sculptures, ambitious installations, and unconventional two- dimensional “drawings”

History of Collaboration Began informally in 1994 – Project O House Came together again in 2004 – Inversion and Apt Suite Through 2008 – Scatter Boats and a series of “trespass” works From 2009 to now – Formalized their collaborative as Havel Ruck Projects – Give and Take (2009) – Fifth Ward Jam (2010)
