History of the Halloween Egyptians has got goddess Diana, and she was witch and her pet was black cat. It's maybe why is today black cat sign of evil. Egyptians wore some masks like form of their gods. It's maybe why children are wear any costumes on Halloween today. Owls aren't popular a lot on Halloween today, but in past, healers could get change in owl and fly. It was sign of wisdom.

No pumpkins In past, weren´t pumpkins, so they cut faces and scary things to beet. Pumpkins got to Europe in the 15th century.

„Trick or Treat“ On Halloween eve, you can hear "Trick or Treat". Children say it because they wanted some candies or chocolate. In Czech, we can say "Koledu nebo Vám n ě co provedu.

Costumes In past, Egyptians wore just golden masks. Today, children wear scary, crazy and color costumes. Todays costumes look like this:
