The Disciple Nations Alliance Ministry Overview
“Never have there been more churches, yet at the same time, never has their been more brokenness. Countless local congregations have been planted in nations around the world. Yet these same nations continue to be wracked by corruption, idolatry, and fear. Why is this so?” Darrow Miller, DNA Co-Founder
“The church is God’s answer to the most urgent problems facing our world. The problem is, she doesn’t realize it. …Consequently, she is ineffective in carrying out her purpose, and the nations are paying the price.” Bob Moffitt, DNA Co-founder
Our Purpose The Disciple Nations Alliance exists to help the church rise to her full potential as God’s principle agent in the restoration, healing, and blessing of broken nations.
N.T. Wright The great emphasis in the New Testament is that the gospel is not how to escape the world; the gospel is that the crucified and risen Jesus is the Lord of the world. And that his death and Resurrection transform the world, and that transformation can happen to you. You, in turn, can be part of the transforming work.

The Seven Core Truths at the Center of the DNA
Jesus is King! “There is not one square inch of the entire creation about which Jesus Christ does not cry out ‘This is mine! This belongs to me.’” - Abraham Kuyper
His primary agenda is to advance the Kingdom of God “We should be working on the basis of the finished work of Christ for substantial healing now in every area where there are divisions [or brokenness] because of the Fall.” - Francis Schaeffer
… By making disciples of all nations “A faith that does not become a culture is a faith not fully accepted, not entirely thought out, not faithfully lived.” - Pope John Paul II “A preaching of the gospel that calls men and women to accept Jesus as their Savior but does not make it clear that discipleship means a commitment to a vision of society radically different from that which controls our public life today must be condemned as false.” - Lesslie Newbigin
“The Church is only the Church when it exists for others.” - Dietrich Bonheoffer His principle agent in this task is the local church
The ministry of the church must be comprehensive and wholistic “God isn’t content to save souls, God wants to save bodies too, God isn’t content to save human beings in their individual activities, God wants to save social systems and economic structures too… Everything corrupt needs to be redeemed… ” - Cornelius Plantinga
The ministry of the church must be incarnational “Christ has no body now on earth but yours, no hands but yours, no feet but yours. Yours are the eyes through which to look out Christ’s compassion to the world. Yours are the feet with which he is to go about doing good; yours are the hands with which he is to bless men now.” - Teresa of Avila
The local church must function intentionally from the biblical worldview “Christian thinking is not simply thinking about Christian topics. It is the ability to think about anything and everything in a consistently Christian manner.” - Os Guinness
