About ROBOCON Founded by Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union In the competition robots compete to complete a task within a set period of time Aim To create friendship among young people with similar interests who will lead their countries in the 21 st century, as well as help advanced engineering
Each year the competition has different topics, but generally speaking three or more robots must be used to complete the tasks. The best robot usually more then 10kg & span in 1sq meter area. To build the robots, contestants who are required to be undergraduate students, must process rich knowledge in programming mechanical design & electronics circuit design.

Robocon 2014 The host of the Robocon 2014 is INDIA. Theme of the 2014 will be declared in August National level competition will be host by MIT, Pune. From India there were 62 teams. participated in the Robocon 2012 national level competition and 96 teams in 2013.
Indus Robocon 2014 The Concept The concept was to develop knowledge, creativity & Innovations among students of Indus University. From Robocon Students will become aware with the latest technology. We will achieve our motto “Practice Meets Theory” from Robocon. From this competition students will learn to work under pressure & gain skills of marketing & management.

Our Aim We want to participate in the ABU Robocon To make our university students well sound about the Robocon & futuristic technology. Participation of the Indus University at the international level Robocon will raise the standards of the students as well as the University
Our requirements are as below :- Three experienced faculty One class or hall for the experiments setups EC & EEE laboratories Permission for the Workshop(Advanced Robotics) Need custom equipments form Lab. Mechanical Workshop Extra collage time
The Work Flow of Team The team include total 30 students of the branch as Mechanical, EC, EEE, Computer and Automobile.
Process of Selection The selection process can be done by two methods - Process 1 :- Written Test –Technical Questions Task Completion – According to Field Personal Interview – Faculty & students Coordinators OR Process 2 :- Arrange Workshop Give the task to students according to fields Personal Interview – Student Coordinator
