Blind Spot: Not Seeing What God Is Doing All Around You

"Astronomically, it tells me that there are millions of galaxies and potentially billions of planets. Astrologically, I observe that Saturn is in Leo. Horologically, I deduce that the time is approximately a quarter past three. Theologically, I can see that God is all-powerful and that we are small and insignificant. Meteorologically, I suspect that we will have a beautiful day tomorrow. Why, what does it tell you?"

Spiritual blindness is worse and more common than physical blindness.

Do You Want To See? Take a moment to consider all that God has given you. Would you say you live in a state of gratitude or not? Take a moment to think about how you’ve lived. What sins would you say that you have committed during your life? Now think about the people in your life – family, friends, coworkers, neighbors – but also those who serve you. Clerks, waiters, busboys, etc. What about those older, or younger? Would they say you are living the life of Christ?
