“Anti-Gay” What Does The Bible Say About Homosexuality? (A Sermon Request)

The Chick-fil-A Controversy The CEO and president, Dan Cathy, said in an interview: “We are very much supportive of the family—the biblical definition of the family unit. We are a family led business and we are married to our first wives. We give God thanks for that…We want to do anything we possibly can to strengthen families. We are very much committed to that.” Mayors from Chicago, Boston, San Francisco and Washinton DC Said they did not want Chick-fil-A in their cities. This past Wednesday August 1. – Mike Huckabee had called for A Chick-fil-A appreciation day. The issue being intolerance of these mayors, 1 st amendments rights and standing up for the God ordained family, that being of a man and wife.

[1] In modern English, gay has come to be used as an adjective, and as a noun, referring to the people, especially to men, and the practices and cultures associated with homosexuality. “Anti” Means Against, Opposed. Anti-Homosexual Anti-Murder, Anti-Profanity, Anti-Ingratitude, Anti-Stealing Anti-Adultery, Anti-Lying, Anti-Arrogancy, Anti-Drunkenness Anti-Sin, Rev.2:13 “Antipas”

Being Anti-Homosexual, Justify…? Gay Bashing, Homophobic, Name Calling Haughty, “Holier Than Thou,” Arrogant Mistreat, Be Unkind, Cruel, Hurtful Absolutely Not! 1 Pet.2:17 Eph.4:31 Lk.15:1-2, Lk.7:34

“Homosexual Bill of Rights” They have a right to hear the blessed gospel of Jesus Christ, Mark 16:15-16, 1Cor.6:9-10; Lk.24:47, Matt.28:19. They have a right to know that their conduct is sinful before God, 1Cor.6:9-10; Romans 1:26-27; I Tim.1:10. They have a right to know that God does not regard homosexuality and/or lesbianism as an “alternative life style,” Hebrews13:4; Romans 1: They have a right to know that they will suffer in their own bodies & personalities the consequences of their sin, Romans 1: They have a right to know that the Bible uses the phrase “Dogs” in connection with this sin. Deut.23:17-18; Rev. 22:15.

“Homosexual Bill of Rights” They have a right to know that their companion (husband/wife) has a God ordained right to put them away because of their sin, Matt.19:9; Jude 7; Genesis 19:4-5. They have a right to repent or turn from their sin and turn to the Lord, Luke 24:47; Acts 2:38; 1 Corinthians 6:9-11. They have a right to know that homosexuality is not a disease, nor an alternative lifestyle, but a sinful way of life that can be changed by the gospel of Christ, 1Cor.6:9-11. They have a right to know that they were not born homosexuals, but through lust have fallen into this lifestyle, and changed “the natural use into that which is against nature.” Romans 1: They have a right to be accepted and forgiven, when they repent and enter the body of Christ, 1 Cor.6:9-11; 2Cor.2:7-11.
