FRANKLIN TEMPLETON INVESTMENTS 2013 has had a very strong start 10 “The aggregate inflow to start 2013 has been far and away the best start of any year this cycle (measured as the past five years) has now tallied over $40.8 billion in new investor subscriptions into foreign stock funds, over 6 times greater than the $6.6 billion over the same period last year. The next best year, 2010, had just half the investor interest of 2013 with just over $19.0 billion allocated to foreign stock funds during the first 10 weeks that year. Both 2008 and 2009 had foreign stock outflows during their first 10 weeks” “In aggregate, the first 2 and a half months of 2013 have been the best start for domestic equity fund flows over the past 5 years with $21.2 billion of new stock funds having been purchased by investors (compared to the $7.1 billion of redemptions by investors in the category over the same time period last year, and the $13.6 billion that came into funds in 2011). The years of 2008, 2009, and 2010 all had outflows during the first 10 weeks”
