Roles and Relationships ANGEL Learning Hosting IT Support Implementation

WAOL Blackboard to ANGEL Phase One: July 08 through March 09 Everything currently supported by WAOL moved from Blackboard to ANGEL Training focused on experienced Blackboard users who are moving to ANGEL Continue to use existing WAOL processes (WAOL ID numbers, Intent to Teach forms, etc.)

WAOL Blackboard to ANGEL Phase Two: March 09 through June 09 New services from WAOL Implement individual college domains and admin access Setting up domains Testing admin access and branding Training for college admins College admin tools and admin group on WAOL Council All training in ANGEL

Roles and Relationships The old WAOL: Colleges enroll students, and manage teaching and learning WAOL uses tight business rules and automation to manage the technology for large numbers with a small centralized staff

The Strategic Technology Plan Most strategic plans have many goals; this plan has only one: to mobilize technology to increase student success. Strategy I: Create a single, system-wide suite of online teaching and learning tools that provides all Washington students with easy access to “anywhere, anytime” learning.
