Master of Art in Teaching – Secondary Programs Core Courses: (12 hours) 701 Using Assessment to Manage Learning Environments (4) (20 hours of observation) 702 Literacy and Technology Integration in the Content Areas (4) (20 hours of observation) 703 Educational Psychology and the Inclusive Classroom (4) (20 hours of observation) Methods Courses: 4 hours in content area (Math, Science, Language Arts, Social Studies. Content Courses: (9 hours in content area) Internship: 8 hours (6 internship, 2 senior seminar) Total Hours: 33 hours

Year Long Professional Program (Elementary) Provide year-long (August – May) course/field experiences at the PDS partners prior to internship. –Teach Math, Science, Language Arts, Reading and Social Studies in a year long block instead of a semester block.
