Honors Courses Honors Courses are weighted with additional GPA quality points  More research-based assignments  More written composition  More presentations  Independent study  Collaborative projects  Authentic assessments  Projects that teach others

AP Courses AP Courses are weighted with additional GPA quality points College level, college pace Reading – Writing – Analysis AP test – you are expected to take the AP Exam in May if you are taking the course. Depending on the college, a score of 3 or higher can give you college course credit (however, some schools give credit only if you score a 5 – the highest you can score). *Important not to overload on AP courses!
