Our Volcanic Eruption Cory, I’Yana, Nia, Eric

Our Question  How much baking soda and vinegar does it take to erupt a plaster volcano?

 Newspaper  Masking Tape  Plaster Cloth  Bowl of Water  Brown Spray Paint  Sponge  Pebbles  Baking Soda  Vinegar  Measuring Cup  Measuring Spoons  Red Food Coloring Resources

Step 1:  Roll up newspaper into balls and tape them together

Step 2:  Take plaster cloth and cut separate sheets. Dip sheets into water than apply onto newspaper mountain.

Step 3:  Blend and smooth with fingers and sponge and then let it sit and dry.

Step 3:  Spray paint brown and add pebbles

Conclusion We learned that a plaster volcano with a 2 liter bottle erupts at 16 ounces of baking soda and 800 ml vinegar. We learned that planning is a big part of success and being responsible and knowing who does what matters hugely.
