International Jazz Piešťany International Jazz Piešťany – annual project of concerts of Slovak and also the world’s jazz musicians. International Jazz Festival of Dodo Šošoka Weekly Friday jazz concerts at the Art Jazz Gallery Jazz courses - in cooperation with the Elementary School of Art in Piešťany. Its teachers are Tomáš Gajlík and Michal Bugala, graduates of Jazz Academy in Graz, Austria. They are amongst the most prominent Slovak jazz musicians.

Jazz in the streets - performances of Slovak and foreign bands on the pedestrian zone, on the terrace of the Spa Hall, and on the bandstand on the Spa Island.

This project is each year more and more popular in Slovakia, but also among the foreign guests of our spa town, thus having a positive effect on the promotion of not only jazz, but also of the town, the region, and Slovakia, eventually, too.

PIEŠŤANY PHOTO CLUB The Park Photo Piešťany event has been organized for several years photo clubs and individuals from the whole Slovakia can present their works here The exhibition is held in the area of the town park in Piešťany, where it is seen by about 3000 people each year

ProPolis Circuit around the Lake Sĺňava – a leisure circuit for pedestrians, in-line skaters and cyclists around the Lake Sĺňava and along the River Váh Acupressure walking path – a hand - rail path laid with cobblestones, located in the town park. This path, made without impact to the environment, provides town inhabitants and visitors with facilities to relaxation

A Day for Piešťany, Piešťany in Motion - all day events for inhabitants and visitors (ecological games, workshops, educational programs, tree planting and so on), in cooperation with the Town Library and Piešťany Municipality.

Colour your Piešťany – a coloring book of an educational nature, which attractive and eye-catching form shows the main landmarks and symbols of Piestany. Individual objects are described in it in Slovak and English. The book is attractive not only for children who can paint it, but also for foreign and domestic visitors of Piešťany. It may also serve as an information city guide to them.

Piešťany Information Centre – establishment of permanent information centre for inhabitants and visitors of the town in the centre of the town. Non - profit organization ProPolis was a partner of the Town Library in establishing the tourist information office – Piešťany Information Centre in 2002.

Trees in Piešťany - publication of a book about important and valuable trees in Piešťany. The book was published with the financial support of Piešťany Municipality, in cooperation with the Piešťany Town Library and Piešťany Information Centre. NPO ProPolis was awarded for the book publication with the Mayor Award for environment protection in the year Following the publication, there was an edition of 15 postcards, reflecting trees in Piešťany. Another activity within this project was the labelling of important trees in Piešťany with information panels in 3 languages - in cooperation with Rotary Club Piešťany and the Town Library.

Traditional folk arts and crafts Traditional folk arts and crafts – a festival organized in May on the Spa Island, in cooperation with the Slovak Health Spa Presentation of folk crafts in the form of workshops and stalls. Over 400 craftsmen participate from various countries. For example ceramists, tinkers, carvers, blacksmiths, trough-makers, lace makers, weavers, basket makers, calligraphers, jewelers and glassmakers, folk musical instruments, candles and many others. Part of the craft markets is usually a cultural program, in which the folklore ensembles, choirs play folk instruments.
