Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer May 21, 1960 to November 28, 1994

Life Events Jeffrey Dahmer was born in West Allis, Wisconsin. His father Lionel as an analytical chemist allowing Dahmer availability of acids and other substances. Mother and father argued heavily in his early teens. Later causing them to have a bitter divorce, his mother taking his brother with her and his father keeping him. Later during his high school years, Jeffrey became an alcoholic loner. After two terms of Ohio State University he dropped out. Jeffrey’s father pushed him to join the army where he became a field medic. A job he loved and was very interested in.

Signs of him becoming a Serial Killer When younger, Jeffrey would experiment with dead animals, dissecting them, and putting them in acid to melt the meat away. Was molested by neighbor boy causing trauma. Parents fought constantly, later divorcing. Drank heavily causing a discharge from the army and being fired from many other jobs.

Victims Jeffrey Dahmer murdered a total of 17 men or boys between Killed his first person days after his high school graduation. The victim was a hitchhiker, named Stephen Hicks, that he beat to death with a barbell. He was almost caught when an asian teen boy ran from the house bleeding and was found by two women. When police arrived, Dahmer calmly walked out and said that the boy was his lover and was drunk from them partying. The police did not check the kids ID nor did they follow protocol, later leaving the boy with Dahmer to be killed. Dahmer was finally caught when a victim escaped his home and was found on the side of a road. The victim had handcuffs on and was bleeding from holes in his skull. The escaped victim led police to Jeffrey’s apartment where police found hands, skulls, human meat in the freezer, a head in the fridge, pictures taken before and during the murder, and finally an altar of candles and human body parts in the closet.

Trial and Punishment Dahmer was held for trial on a 1 million dollar bond. He admitted to his crimes and pleaded not guilty due to insanity. In 1992, the jury found him guilty with 15 consecutive life sentences (936 years). The public witnessing the trial stated that though he committed the murders, it was hard to believe such a well spoken and intelligent person would do such a thing.

Prison and Death Two years later in Portage Wisconsin, Dahmer was murdered by a fellow inmate at the Columbia Correctional Institute. Inmate Christopher Scarver beat Dahmer and Jesse Anderson (another inmate) to death with a broom while cleaning a bathroom. Scarver claims he was the son of god and was acting on Fathers wishes. In 1996, Milwaukee raised 400,000 dollars to buy Dahmer’s belongings and tools to later incinerate.

Dahmer’s Tendency’s Mainly Asian or African American. Males: tall, lean, and of attitudes. Usually tracked people from gay bars or disco clubs. Men were usually homosexual or bisexual. Would lure them by paying them for pictures of them at his house and drug them with sleeping pills in their drinks. Would then strangle and stab victims at his apartment. Once dead, he would have sex, dismember, eat the muscles, dissolve the rest in acid, and finally would keep the had and genitals as trophy's.
