Minimum education: high school diploma Starting out wage is between 17,000 and 20,000 dollars a year and around 11 dollars an hour A medium skilled worker would get 27,000 dollars a year and 13 dollars an hour. An experienced worker would get between 25,000 and 40,000 dollars a year and about 16 dollars an hour. The employees get paid in different ways and get more benefits depending if they work full time or part time Education/salary
There are many of different jobs that can take place at a sawmill. First there are the people that transform raw material in to lumber. Second there are the people that plan out and make plans of what the boards are going to be cut into. Then lastly there are the people that cut the boards in to shapes and designs to be put together into furniture and many other wooden things. Depending on which one of these jobs you have is how much you get paid. Job description

Saws are obviously necessary at a sawmill which are provided. Safety glasses, ear protection, and head protection are provided sometimes but sometimes you have to get your own depending the business.
