“Traditional School” Students learn what the teachers determine they need to learn. Little to no choice in what to learn or how to learn it. “Studio & Lab” Students choose what they want to learn about. Students work to create a product. What is studio & lab?

Anything! So long as it is a long-term project that involves multiple disciplines and results in a product that is shared with an audience outside of Morrill. What can we create?

Create a goal by asking yourself what ‘product’ do you want to create? Who is your audience? (thing big!) Create a timeline for your project. Determine the materials you need to acquire and the skills you need to learn. Form a team of 3-5 classmates. How will you do this?

You most likely won’t succeed. All great success stories have been the result of collaboration. What if I want to work alone?
