New Strategy with Horizon 2020 Excellent Science: World class science is the foundation of tomorrow’s technologies, and development of research talent Industrial Leadership: Strategic investments in key technologies underpin innovation across existing and emerging industries Societal Challenges: Breakthrough solutions for global challenges come from multi-disciplinary collaborations, including social sciences & humanities

R & D Spending (in EURO) Gross Domestic Expenditure on R&D Target in OECD countries is expected to be 3% / year; The ratio of Gross Domestic Expenditure on R&D for EU 27 in 2012 was about 2 %; in absolute figures it reached about 248 billion Euro.

Coaching for Application Ongoing assistance is being offered for application to Horizon It is provided by experts who have submitted project proposals successfully, who are working in consortia of FP7 / Horizon 2020 who have expertise in different subjects, e.g. Marie Skłodowska- Curie actions, food, agriculture, forestry; Health; Energy and environment; ICT; innovation in SME Location: - not only in Sarajevo, Mostar and Banja Luka; - but also in other places if minimum 3-5 people will attend; Experts are available during: 24 – 30 April; 05 – 15 May; 26 May – 27 June 2014.

Broker science and innovation Researchers and innovators are assisted to broker their know how at European events.
