New Instructional Materials Added The NCDPI Content Specialists continue to Increase the State Vetted Collection of Instructional Materials. Recent additions: Instructional Units: K­-12: 49 Lesson Plans: K-­12: 686 Resources:K-­12: 620 Assessments: K-­12: 35 (Tasks, Activities)

New Assessment Items Added 2,660 additional benchmark assessment items were added. Items have the publisher NCDPI_Benchmark and are available to district level users for creating district benchmark assessments. The 2,660 items cover : ELA (grades 3­-8 and ENG II), Math (grades 3-­8 and Math I) and Science (grades 5 and 8 and Biology). 1,300 additional classroom items were also added. These items have the publisher NCDPI_Classroom and are available to ALL users and intended for use by teachers at the classroom level. Similar to the benchmark items, the 1,300 classroom items cover: ELA (grades 3­-8 and ENG II) Math (grades 3-­8 and Math I) Science (grades 5 and 8 and Biology )

HBSC Known Issues & Hot Fixes Resolved: Can resume uploading CSV files of Student Performance as of 3/6/2015 Update: Hot Fix to address scoring issues where assessment grades are not being shared with the gradebook to be applied approx. 3/11-3/13. Pending: Small # of student records showing duplicate LEA enrollment
