Exercise 2 I. Open Microsoft PowerPoint II. Click on ‘File’ 1. Click on ‘New…’ a. Select ‘Blank presentation’ a) Type in title section - “2008 Taste of Chicago Proposal” b) Type in the subtitle section – a company name that sells hot dogs III. Add a new slide 1. Apply Slide Design – “Proposal” to all slides 2. Title slide ‘Hot Dogs’ 3. Add a clipart/picture of a hot dog IV. Save presentation V. Run Slide Show

Exercise 3 CREATE A PRESENTATION  Pick a subject Ideas for presentation…  Favorite class subject  Favorite vacation spot (country, state, continent)  Favorite singer, band, concert, type of music, etc.  Favorite actor, movie, type of entertainment  Design a short presentation 3 to 4 slides No sentences, you are not going to read the presentation  Use bullet points to remember key points of subject presented  Run Slide Show when done
