CIP Strategies To develop a common understanding of and plan for implementation of a standards-based instructional and assessment system across the curriculum. To integrate reading, writing and mathematics standards and strategies across the curriculum. To review and analyze annual results and trends in reading, writing, mathematics, social studies and science to determine instructional needs and practices.

(#1) Teachers will continue with designing and implementing common assessments. (#2) All Staff (#1) On-Going (#2) On-Going Results/Measurements 1) Agendas and minutes from both team and content meetings 2) Authentic common assessments

Action Planning: Integrate Literacy and Math Across the Curriculum … 2008-2009 Munroe Elementary School Long Term Action Plan Integrate Literacy and Math Across the Curriculum Action Plan For Current School Year Responsibility Timeline Utilize common planning time to enhance student achievement emphasizing math and literacy. (#1) Understand AYP as it pertains to Math and Reading. (#2) Track growth in both math and literacy. (#3) All Staff (#1) On-going (#2) Introduced in late September-early October then revisited throughout the year. (#3) On-going Results/Measurements: 1) Data analysis from the common assessments that were given throughout the year. 2) Achievement Tests results. 3) Math and Reading fluency give either 2 or 3 times a year then recorded in a data notebook.
