Updating Firmware of IP-GW4E NDSS – 5 TDA0920 is required. Conditions TDA0920 must be in both of monitor PBX and monitored PBX. The firmware (not LPR) of IP-GW4E(TDA0484) must be Version1.2 or later. Network PBX ID:1-8 must be unique in the network. It’s possible to stop monitoring at monitored PBX by PC Maintenance Console. NDSS does not work on PC-Phone / PC-Console. You can not back up all of NDSS configuration into DSYS. ( * You need to check and re-configure some part of NDSS after initialize reset, even you have DSYS as backup. ) Updating Firmware of IP-GW4E (1) Connect a browser to IP-GW4E. ( Updating is done through a browser. It’s not from PC Maintenance Console.) (2) Login to IP-GW4E with the name: Installer, PW: Installer. (3) Change the status of the card from “RUN” to “STOP”. (4) Now, you can upload a firmware and update the card with the procedure in the manual (3.3 Data Management).

Caller ID to SLT - 4 Programming items - 2 CID Modification table - modified CID will be sent to SLT port SLC8 Property Check if EXT-CID is installed
Caller ID to SLT – 5 Priority of items displayed when TDA is receiving FSK CID FSK CID may bring information such as private, out of area or long distance. If TDA received Result priority high low “private” or “out of area” “private” or “out of area” is displayed. “long distance” “long distance” is displayed. Another items Caller ID and Name is displayed.
External Sensor - 1 If a device connected to the external sensor becomes active, there are 3 outcomes: (1)Sensor call will be generated to the pre-programmed extension (2)Generates SMDR Printout (3)Generates 3rd Party CTI command The sensor call destination can be a PT, SLT,PS, or ISDN extension but not an ICD-Group. - If a sensor call arrives at an extension Display : pre-assigned name of sensor port [5.5] Ring : Distinctive ringer pattern can be assigned (triple, or special double ring, so on) [2.8.3] - Special Tone(Dial Tone 3) will be sent to answering extension. - If nobody answer sensor call, sensor call stops with pre-programmed time [2.4.3].
External Sensor - 2 Timings The External Sensor has some timing parameters that can be set using the maintenance console [1.] and clicking on the OPB3 card. Input Signal Decision Time = This is the time delay before Extension begins to Ring. Input Signal Detection Reopening Time = This is the time it takes the sensor to reset hence the time it will take to respond to the next input.
External Sensor - 3 Connection Diagram Power to the external sensor is provided from the EI04 card and must be grounded through the EI04 card as indicated in the diagram below. A pair of “sensor” and “common” lines are connected to the EI04 card for each external sensor. The TDA detects inputs from the sensor when the signal is under 100 Ohms.
External Relay Extensions can activate external relay for controlling external devices(On/Off) by feature code. There is a COS that has to be programmed to enable this feature. It is possible to activate the relay for pre-programmed time [5.4]. The relay is the relay normally open. And has a maximum switching voltage of : 24VDC(1A) 30VAC(1A)
