GOOGLE WAVE To collaborate, post and share ideas regarding designs or any other issues related to the development of the Web site To post Web site mockups, cool sites/widgets we found; exchange ideas and feedback Google Wave Login Page
DESIGN PROCESS Mocked-up designs using Photoshop and posted them on Google Wave so all four of us could review the designs and make comments Weekly meetings among the four of us to discuss the website progress Meetings with Judy and Dan to finalize the site map, website designs/mockups, and names for each category Created a splash page that gave us an idea of how things looked inside a browser; serves as a placeholder until the new site is completed Gathered content from all the partners involved Link to Splash Page
USING SOCIAL MEDIA We’ve used several social networking sites to provide updates, get more people to know about the project, and drive traffic back to the OSMP Web site Facebook (linked to Twitter and Flickr) Twitter Flickr, Youtube Blogger Vimeo iTunes U
PROMOTING THE SITE Other than using social networking sites, we are looking at different ways to promote the website in order to drive more traffic to the OSMP website One way of doing it is through Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Improving traffic to our Web site from search engines using keywords
