Victory park My favourite place is Victory park. It is a very beautiful park. You can see a lot of wonderful fountains, attractions. I like to spend my free time here. I can walk, go boating. There is a zoo in Victory park. I always enjoy the animals. I have a lot of fun in this park.

Gagarin park My favourite place is Gagarin park. It is a very popular place for my friends. We can do a lot of interesting things there. This park is very beautiful. You can see wonderful fountains, attractions. I like to spend my free time here. I go for a walk. I have a lot of fun in this park.

It’s devoted to the Battle of Kursk Bulge. Belgorod Land Study Museum Belgorod Land State museum was founded in 1924. It’s first director was Paul Ivanovich Baryshnikov. It is situated in Popov Street. Here we can find information about Belgorod region, such as relief, minerals, animals. There are a lot of photos, maps, documents which tell us about the history, famous people, different interesting events of our region. Drama theatre I am a theatre-lover I prefer to visit Drama theatre. It is my favourite place. I like to sit in the pit. I try to buy a ticket beforehand. In the foyer on the walls I see the photos of the famous and popular actors and actresses. I like the performance and I applaud the actors. I like to discuss the play if I see it with my friends.

In Sobornaya Square we have meetings, holidays, parades, concerts. Every year there is a very big New Years Tree in the center of Sobornaya Square. I like to come to this square to look at the tree. I like to spend my free time here.

My favourite street is Khmelnitsky Street Khmelnitsky Street is one of the central streets of Belgorod. It is one the longest and busiest streets in the city. The traffic is very heavy in Khmelnitsky Street. There are so many buses, trolley-buses, cars. Khmelnitsky Street is one of the most beautiful streets in Belgorod. There are a lot of fine buildings in it. Khmelnitsky Street is a shopping centre. You can buy clothes, shoes, toys in it.

Popov Street I would like to tell you about my favourite street. This Street stretches from south to north and begins from the Victory Park. Before the Revolution this street joined to the market and was called Old Moscow Street. And it was the main road to Moscow. In 1928 it was renamed into Pioneer Street. This street was called Popov Street in honour of brave and fearless tank-man senior Lieutenant Andrey Ivanovich Popov. There is a Medical college by Vinogradskaya the scientific library, the department store “Belgorod”, musical school and art exhibition on this street.

Shershnyov Street Shershnyov street is a beautiful quiet street. In August 1963 Sadovaya Lane was renamed in Shershnyov street. Nikolay Shershnyov was a worker, a komsomol member from Leningrad. He was called up to the Soviet Army during the Great Patriotic war. He took part in battle og Kursk Bulge in 1943. He didn’t see his victory, he was killed. Later he was rewarded with the order of Lenin, posthumously. There are a lot of sigh in Shershnyov street: cinema ‘Raduga’, Puppet Show Theatre, school №20.

Frunze Street Frunze Street is a very long street of our city. Its extent is more seven kilometers. It begins from railway terminal and pulls over all city. Many historic facts are connected with this street. The memorial board tells us about heroes of Civil War and Great Patriotic War. Frunze Street crosses with the street Kirov There are many enterprises: cement factory, experimental litejno-mekhanichesky plant, state bank. In Frunze street there are many trolley-buses and buses routes.
