A resource that replenishes them selves through natural process within a human lifespan is a __________ resource. Nonrenewable Biomass Renewable Fossil.
Nonrenewable Resources. Formation of Fossil Fuels 2:26 As you watch, look for answers to these questions: 1.How do fossil fuels form? 2.Why are they nonrenewable?
Lv4: Recall how two energy sources are captured. Lv5: Explain adv and dis of different renewable energy sources. Lv6: Compare renewable energy sources.

Kid Wind Design Challenge http://challenge.kidwind.org/online Designed By: Elise Wardour and Ryan Prise Team Name: Bubblegum people 5-8 Coaches Name: Pamela Urbanek-Childs Email Address: PUrbanekChilds@clarenceschools.org Clarence Middle School

Our Team Tell us about your team: our team is called the bubblegum people. We are a team of 2 six graders named Ryan and Elise we are from Clarence middle school

Design Brief Problem Statement (What is the problem that your teacher has given you to solve?): We are running out of fossil fuels or non-renewable sources such as oil and natural gas. The world needs to use more renewable sources so that the non-renewable sources will last longer. Design Statement (How are you going to solve this problem? Include the process you are going to take to solve the given problem) : we will solve this problem by building a Wind Turbine. Our cutting edge wind turbine will be top of the line and generate lots of electricity with it extraordinary blades.

Design Brief Constraints (What you can and cannot do/use.): Coraplast No metal blades cant be larger than 10 in Blades should not be wider than 5 in No more than 4 blades No less than 2 blades Deliverables (What materials and items you need to solve this problem) *a turbine hub *a turbine *a fan *wooden dowel
