Ali al Baqir (as) Title: al Baqir Father's name: Ali ibn Husain (as) Mother's name: Fatima binte Hassan Birth: 1 st RAJAB, 57 years after Hijrah Death: At the age of 59 years, at Medina, on Monday, 7th Zilhajj 116 AH. Poisoned by Hisham bin Abdul Malik Buried: Jannat-ul-Baqi (Medina) alongside the graves of Imam Hassan and Imam Sajjad (a.s) in Medina.

Take the good speech from whoever said it even if his practice was not accordingly. (Behar Al - anwar, Dar Ehya Al - torath Al - arabi, Vol. 75, P. 170) It has been narrated by Imam Muhammad b. Ali al Baqir (as)

“No intercessor for a woman, on the Reckoning Day, is more effective with Allah than the consent of her husband." Bihar-ul-Anwar, vol. 81, p. 345

It has been narrated by Imam Muhammad b. Ali al Baqir (as) Refrain from laziness and restlessness because these two are the key to all evils ; whoever is lazy doesn't fulfil the rights and whoever is restless is impatient with the truth. It has been narrated by Imam Muhammad b. Ali al Baqir (as) God favours his believer slave with afflictions as the traveler sends the gift for his family ; and He ( God ) protects him from this world as the doctor protects the patient. (Behar Al - anwar, Dar Ehya Al - torath Al - arabi, Vol. 75, P. 180)

It has been narrated by Imam Muhammad b. Ali al Baqir (as) Everything has a spring (season) and the spring of Qur’an is the month of Ramadhan. (Al - Kafi, Vol. 2, P. 630)

Allah only desires to keep away the uncleanness from you, O people of the House! And to purify you a (thorough) purifying (33:33)". إنما يُريد الله ليذهِب عنكُم الرجس أهلَ البيتِ ويُطهركم تطهرا بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

قُل لا أسألُكم عليهِ أجراً إلاّ المودةَ في القربى "...Say: I do not ask of you any reward for it but love for my near relatives..." (42:23) بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

فَمَن حاجّك فيه من بعدِ ما جاءك منَ العلمِ فقُل تعالوا ندعُ "But whoever disputes with you in this matter after what has come to you of knowledge, then say: …… بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

أبناءنا وأبناءكم ونِساءنا ونساءكُم وأنفُسنا وأنفسكُم ثم نبتهل فنجعل لعنة الله على الكاذبين …… come let us call our sons and your sons and our women and your women and our near people and your near people, then let us be earnest in prayer, and pray for the curse of Allah on the liars." (3:61) بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

The Prophet (Pbuh) said: O' young ones; Whoever of you has the means to get married, then marry so that you seldom look at other women and remain sinless. [Marriage in Islam, p.14]

The Prophet (Pbuh) said: No contract in Islam is more approved by God than marriage. [Bihar al-Anwar, v.103, p.222]

The Prophet (Pbuh) said: Whoever gets married has obtained half of prosperity. [Mustadrak al-Vasa'il, Introductory Chapters, Ch.1]
