TFN Status 8/2004 Turn-up Targets TFN Optical layer scheduled for completion September 2004, Routing layer scheduled for completion by October, All universities and colleges will be on the TFN backbone during the fall term All 15 research universities and medical schools will have Gigabit connections by fall term to the TFN

TFN Status 8/2004 Turn-up Targets All other Colleges and Universities connectivity will depend on the last mile option selected to the TFN Lambda provisioned for SchoolNet, awaiting funding recent budget cuts have delayed implementation of SchoolNet’s configuration and equipment order (Sites will be turned up during the school year)
